Our rover, "Inspiration", is designed to move over a sandy, rocky, lunar landscape. It navigates with binaural ultrasound, and can also be remotely controlled with a joystick.

We Are Finalists!


Hooray! We just saw the announcement that the Penguin Men are Finalists in MoonBots 2012!  Hats off to all the other 146 teams that entered.  Good work, everyone, we enjoyed your videos.

Now it's back to field testing some rover ideas. This time, with some time pressure on us :-)
